The professional credentials you recently submitted for the Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) designation have been accepted. We are pleased to inform you that you are now officially a Certified FRM.
We are delighted to welcome you to our rapidly-growing community of Certified FRMs, and we encourage you to begin using your designation effective immediately. Having the FRM designation after your name will convey to colleagues, clients, and co-workers that you possess the knowledge, skills, and ability required to assess and manage financial risk.
The FRM designation can be used in the following formats only:
- FRM
- Certified FRM
- Financial Risk Manager — Certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals
How to use the FRM Designation:- After your name in any written correspondence or as a part of your email signature
- After your name on business cards, letterheads and/or name plates
- As an identifier in resumes, curriculum vitas, (including professional social media profiles such as LinkedIn), biographies, personal statements and or published articles
- You will be included in the GARP Member Directory; a searchable registry and community of Certified FRMs and Certified ERPs. *To configure your directory preferences, or to opt-out, please click here.
Distribution of the Certificates:
The next scheduled distribution of FRM certificates will occur next month and will be sent via the United Parcel Service (UPS). You can expect a tracking number at that time. Please log in to your portal to ensure your name is correct and appears the way you want it to be printed on your certificate. Otherwise we will use the same name that appeared on your admission ticket. We also need you to confirm your mailing address no later than the last day of this month. If you do not receive your FRM certificate within 8 weeks of the mailing date, or need to have your name updated, please send an email to memberservices@garp.com for further assistance. If you wish to have a duplicate/replacement certificate sent to you, please login to your portal and submit your request. A fee of US $100 will be required for each duplicate certificate ordered. The duplicate certificate will be sent in the month following the order date. Digital Badge:
As a Certified FRM, you can increase the visibility of your designation by placing the digital badge on your favorite professional or social networks, blog, or website. The badge will validate your achievement, and will emphasize your skills and achievement to potential employers, recruiters and other contacts.
Visit the My Programs section of your GARP portal, click "Share on LinkedIn" and follow the step-by-step instructions on how to properly display your status as a Certified FRM.
